The vision of the Oakland Baptist Church is to transform the lives of God’s people through the Word of God, by the Spirit of God and through the love of God, through the people of God. The mission of the Oakland Baptist Church is to present every child of God perfect in Christ.

“Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man per-fect in Christ Jesus. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.”

Col 1:28-29

We believe all who place their faith in Jesus Christ are immediately baptized by the Holy Spirit into one united spiritual Body, the Church, of which Jesus Christ is the Head. We believe in the establishment and continuity of the local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures and that the members of this one spiritual Body are directed to associate themselves together in local assemblies.
